The Maison REZA has invited me for its first private pre Christmas holiday presentation in London on Thursday 20th December 2018. Reza inaugurated their showroom inside the gallery of The Mews Suite at The Connaught hotel presenting its jewellery collection. The private show was to introduce the fine detailed craftsmanship of the pieces attained a new level of excellence and aesthetics sensibility added value to the colour, tone, and brilliance of each stone.

I have visited the private event, opened for the press, with a big drum roll. I was looking forward to discovering Reza's new pieces. In the showroom, I was awaited by works of mesmerising high jewellery art that I not only wanted to look at for the aesthetic fulfilment; I also wanted to understand what techniques Reza uses to inspire with a sense of classic stones and artistic modernity. In the first entering The Mews Showroom, there were small display cases positioned, the big Christmas Tree was lit and Reza's collection was shining through and I noticed the festive feeling in the showroom. In all the displays were the pieces, the Dune cuff, Duchess Perles Blanches Earrings with Duchess Necklace, Tiara earrings, Gouttes, Toi Et Moi Diamant Coeur, Moon, Turban Emeraude and other pieces were the talking pieces at the showroom.

I have been greeted by Reza's representative Cedric who has helped me to discover Reza's new jewellery pieces. I heard about the brand's strong philosophy of nurturing and bringing out the true, unaltered and innate beauty of the finest creation. Cedric was also kind to show me around all that was new. He has started introducing me to the jewellery pieces that contained grace, volume, and elegance that visible throughout Reza's collection. Cedric has brought some of Reza's jewellery pieces, which he then asked to try them on. The Duchesse necklace (See below for the necklace) which I had a great desire to try on combined all type of diamond cuts in the necklace, it was brought to be tried on so that I had to try on. With the most precious art of inlay and kissing diamonds the technique in making taken years to develop to allow the purest reflection of light. Every single angle is absolutely stunning and thanks to the South Sea pearls, it enhances the central stones brilliantly. Needless to say, I didn't want to be part with them.

My attention was caught by Toi Et Moi Diamant Coeur ring was so graciously embodied of high jewellery. The ring is simple to the eye but one that dazzles with the natural beauty of its precious two heart shaped D-IF diamonds (see below the ring) and precise structure. The diamonds rest on curved cradles set on white gold that smoothly skirt around the stones at their base and edges.

After thoroughly learning the ring my attention turned to Gouttes; Earrings featuring unheated Burmese cushion-cut rubies, marquise, pear-shaped, emerald-cut diamonds, Mod Oil Brazilian drop emeralds and Fancy Yellow brilliants set on yellow gold. It brilliantly shined, the precious stones; emerald, rubies, diamonds combined together with strong intriguing construction. I thought that the earrings with diamond and ruby flowers (see below the emerald and ruby earrings) were also remarkable.
