This month I was invited to visit Hemmerle at PAD, LONDON 2017. PAD is one of the leading fairs for art, design and decorative art of the 20th Century, and is set in the heart of Mayfair, London. At PAD, many important international galleries across Europe, North America and Asia come together to offer exceptional and iconic works. It has opened its door to allow you to discover and acquire pieces of museum quality with an unmistakable history.
Hemmerly was back 2-8 October to showcase the latest creations at PAD in London. Based in Munich, Hemmerle is the fourth generation run family house that keeps up with its origin and its jewellery essence when making astonishing jewellery art pieces. It was such a dazzling atmosphere with full of people available to view the brand's offerings. I have had the pleasure meeting Christian Hemmerle, the next generation jewellery enthusiast, the son of Stefan and Sylveli Hemmerle and thoroughly enjoyed the talk with him about the art and heritage of Hemmerle at PAD, London. Hemmerle continues to search for the most precious gemstones, and use of visual vocabulary continues to evolve with geometric silhouettes of rectangular cut gems or oval cabochons, mismatched earrings, wide curved armour-like cuffs, heavy curb chains, and luxuriant tassels earrings. Hemmerle jewellery pieces are entirely unique and can take up to several years and hundreds of hours to make. The quality and the innovation that Hemmerle invests into its unrepeatable and distinctive jewellery pieces are so unique which impress many.
Hemmerle continues to exhibit at many prominent exhibitions and fairs, such as Masterpiece and Pad (London) as well as Tefaf, (Maastricht and New York) where it receives reviews from art and jewellery lovers.
