Celebrating the 41st Edition of IIJS Premiere 2025: A Glorious Tribute to “Brilliant Bharat”

The glittering world of gems and jewellery converged once again as the 41st edition of the India International Jewellery Show (IIJS Premiere 2025) officially opened its doors today, marking another historic milestone for one of the world’s largest B2B trade shows in the sector.
The inauguration ceremony, held at the Jio World Convention Centre, was a grand affair, drawing luminaries and leaders from across the jewellery industry. Kriti Bhansali, Chairperson of the GJEPC (Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council), and Nirav Bhansali, also representing GJEPC, led the formal opening of the show, alongside Shaunak Parikh, Vice Chairman of GJEPC. Their joint presence underscored the Council’s unified vision and enduring commitment to India’s gem and jewellery excellence.
The theme for this year, “Brilliant Bharat”, serves as a heartfelt celebration of India’s rich cultural legacy and transformative journey in the jewellery industry. The narrative of “Brilliant Bharat” emphasizes the exquisite, age-old craftsmanship that India is renowned for, while also spotlighting the industry’s remarkable evolution into a hub of modern innovation, design, and sustainability.
Adding gravitas to the occasion, Mr. Ajoy Chawla, CEO of the Titan Company Ltd. Jewellery Division, delivered a compelling address as Guest of Honour. In his speech, Mr. Chawla emphasized the importance of uniting tradition with contemporary trends, highlighting Titan’s own journey of innovation rooted in India’s artisanal strength.
Also addressing the audience was Mr. Parav, CEO of Arosa, who spoke passionately about the growing global appetite for Indian jewellery and the unique storytelling embedded in every handcrafted piece. He applauded GJEPC’s efforts in nurturing a global platform that champions both heritage and innovation.
With over 1,900 exhibitors, 3,500+ stalls, and buyers from across 80+ countries, IIJS Premiere 2025 is set to be a landmark event—bringing together manufacturers, retailers, designers, and connoisseurs under one spectacular roof. The show will run for several days, offering exclusive previews of new collections, cutting-edge technologies, and sustainable practices shaping the future of the industry.
