The creative behind Vitale Jewellery is Riccardo Vitale. With a background in mechanical engineering, Vitale approaches his designs with a dedication to individuality. Each natural gemstone, and of course, each client is entirely unique. This bespoke and considered approach to fine jewellery pairs each kaleidoscopic creation with an equally multi-faceted wearer. In Riccardo’s eyes, these pieces as “destined to belong to just one woman,” who acts as a custodian in her own way of the gemstone and the jewel that displays it.
The design process begins with a discerning search for the finest coloured gemstones. Whether Vitale selects emerald, sapphire, tourmaline, kunzite, aquamarine, spinel, garnet, tanzanite, or peridot, the gemstone informs his bespoke design. Indeed, the gemstone acts as a “true protagonist of the jewellery.” Riccardo explains that Vitale exclusively uses natural gemstones, and as such each piece is accompanied with a certificate, confirming the gemstone attributes, including carat weight, identity, and origin.
Wholly designed and created in Italy, Vitale Jewellery tells “a story of elegance and preciousness.” The Unique Emotion Collection explores the connotations between colour and feeling, the “Two of Us” ring as a simply beautiful take on the traditional Toi et Moi ring. Designed with “two gems, one soul,” this ring features a rubellite and verdelite tourmaline, representing “two different characters in one common soul.” A perfectly balanced, yet distinct pairing of protagonist gemstones, priced at €6,700.
Meanwhile, the Elite Elegance Collection is all about self-expression through adornment, “luxury that tells who you are.”
We at Jewellery Pursuer were instantly drawn to the beautiful Pink Cocktail Ring from the collection, set with pink sapphires and diamonds, priced at €10,500. Expressing an “Exclusive Femininity,” designed to embody a “lightheartedness, joie de vivre, and finally the pride of being a woman without too many compromises.” Perhaps this was a very telling choice!
With pieces from the Milestone Collection starting at around €250, cascading up to wearable works of art such as the Collana Excelsior set with kunzite, pink sapphires and diamonds, pictured above for €77,500, Vitale Jewellery has something to mark every chapter of life.
