The curtains have closed on JCK Las Vegas 2025, and what a dazzling journey it has been. As an ardent founder of Jewellery Pursuer, I, Shohista Turdiyeva and other influencers, being present at the world’s most prestigious jewellery trade show was inspiring and transformative.
This year, JCK reaffirmed that the future of jewellery lies in a fusion of legacy, innovation, and responsibility.
Held at the Venetian Expo, JCK brought together over 18,000 attendees and 1,900+ exhibitors from every corner of the globe, offering unmatched insight into the ever-evolving world of jewellery. It truly celebrated artistry, heritage, innovation, and most importantly, values.
Some memorable times at the JCK 2025
The Jose Hess Design Awards 2025: Celebrating Radiance in Its Purest Form
One of the most heart-touching moments of JCK was witnessing the Jose Hess Design Awards 2025, held on Saturday, June 7, inside the Design Collective Lounge.
This year’s theme, “Radiance,” honoured jewellery pieces that embodied timeless beauty, profound emotional resonance, and exceptional craftsmanship. As someone who deeply respects meaningful design, seeing these creations up close was breathtaking.

The Six Honorees Who Redefined Radiance:
Penny Preville – Celebrating 50 years in the industry, her designs continue to capture romantic elegance and enduring charm.
Kouzoupis Jewellery – Representing 75 years of Greek legacy, their work blends generational artisanal mastery with contemporary finesse.
Benjamin King, Diamonds De Canada – His creations pay tribute to the unique geological identity of the Northwest Territories' diamonds.
Stella Song – A GIA graduate and emerging voice who flawlessly merges classical elegance with modern minimalism.
Simon G. Fine Jewellery – Known for high-end engineering and exquisite detailing, their innovation speaks for itself.
LÖF by Morgan Mackintosh – A self-taught prodigy with intuitive design acumen and an evocative artistic voice.
Judged by Susan Helmich, Tracey Ellison (The Diamond Girl), Veronica & Louis Guarino, and Maggie Hess, these awards brought tears, toasts, and tales of passion. Attendees received a symbolic “Radiance” bracelet engraved with the message “Radiance lives in you”, honouring the luminous spirit Jose Hess always championed.

Kering Generation Award X Jewellery: Innovation with Purpose
In another powerful segment of the show, Kering hosted the inaugural Kering Generation Award X Jewellery, celebrating sustainable luxury under the theme “Second Chance, First Choice.” With support from CIBJO and Politecnico di Milano, the award encouraged designers to breathe new life into discarded materials, proving that circular creativity is both viable and visionary.
Student Category: Lee Min Seo (Hongik University, Korea) – Her “Rhythm Reborn” collection transformed worn-out janggu leather into poetic, sustainable jewellery, paying homage to Korean music and culture.
Startup Category: Ianyan (China) – A revolutionary brand focusing on fractured opals and unusual stones, embracing imperfection, regeneration, and modular design for long-term wearability.
The trophies were presented by esteemed leaders, including François-Henri Pinault (Kering), Marie-Claire Daveu, Professor Alba Cappellieri, and Gaetano Cavalieri. These initiatives show that the next generation isn’t just designing jewellery, they’re reshaping the very essence of luxury.
GJEPC India: Shining a Global Spotlight on Indian Jewellery
I was particularly proud to see the significant presence and impact of GJEPC (Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council) at JCK 2025. India continues to shine as a global leader in diamond cutting, colored gemstones, and hand-finished fine jewellery.
At this year’s JCK:
Indian pavilions reflected design diversity from Mughal-inspired marvels to modern minimalism.
GJEPC’s ongoing efforts in promoting “Made in India” craftsmanship helped strengthen India's stature in the global value chain. Several Indian manufacturers and designers captured attention for their ethical sourcing, precision, and innovation. Their presence not only promoted Indian artistry but also created strong B2B networks, reinforcing India’s vital role in the future of responsible global jewellery trade.
Showcase Highlights: Heritage Meets Modern Mastery
The exhibitor booths this year were a feast for the eyes and heart. Here are a few standout names that I explored:
Tresor Collection – Boasting 19 generations of jewellery artistry, their pieces blended historical Indian craftsmanship with contemporary wearable art. Each design whispered stories of love, legacy, and identity.
B.H.C. Diamonds (USA) - Since 1970, their precision-cut, 100% verified natural diamonds (from .003 to 35 pts) have made them a benchmark in diamond trade. Their offerings from white and silver to fancy blacks were a gem collector’s dream.
Aashu Diamonds Inc. & Shyam Corporation – Both brands wowed with their GIA/IGI/HRD-certified stones, from classic rounds to rare fancy cuts, promising both beauty and transparency.
Words That Shaped the Narrative
The event wasn’t only about aesthetics; it was deeply reflective. Some of the standout moments for me included;
John Mulligan (World Gold Council) - “Gold is more than metal, it's about responsibility, trust, and enduring value.”
Jenny Luker (Platinum Guild International) - “Jose Hess described platinum as ‘like butter.’ He saw its purity, and today’s designers must continue exploring that potential.”
Nicole Garcia (GIA) - Jose believed that brilliance isn’t born, it’s built through education, dedication, and learning.”
More Than a Show, A Movement
JCK 2025 was far more than a trade fair. It was a stage where innovation danced with tradition, where sustainability had a spotlight, and where stories outshone sparkle. As I return home, I feel grateful for the opportunity to witness not just brilliant gems, but brilliant minds and hearts shaping this industry’s future. This year reminded me why I do what I do, not just to admire beauty, but to be part of a community that believes in conscious, creative, and connected jewellery.
Here’s to everyone who made JCK 2025 unforgettable. See you next year with even more shine and soul.
