A Vision in Three Acts
At its heart, Diorexquis is a triptych of Dior’s most cherished inspirations. Each jewel is a microcosm of artistry, deeply connected to nature and the passage of time.
Enchanted Landscapes come to life through pastoral scenes crafted in gemstones, like the magnificent Forêt Nacrée necklace, a true work of wearable art. Hand-painted deer stroll through fields of mother-of-pearl, hares leap beneath blossoming trees, and butterflies rest on diamond-encrusted petals.
Delicate Bouquets are reflected in intricate Mille-fleurs motifs and gem-studded blooms, echoing Dior’s deep affection for the gardens of Granville.
Magical Balls are interpreted through opulent creations reminiscent of grand soirées, featuring flamboyant tiaras, brooches, ear climbers, and double rings, each one a symbol of celebration and modern elegance.
The Rhythm of the Seasons
Diorexquis captures the essence of the changing seasons through both material and mood. The collection features spectacular stones, including a 25.85-carat Sri Lankan sapphire, a 10.59-carat Colombian emerald, a 7.03-carat Mozambique ruby, and an exceptional 33.88-carat yellow diamond. These gems echo the purity of winter’s frost, the bloom of spring, and the joy of summer sunlight.
The colour palette is intense yet refined sapphires in deep blue, rubies in vibrant crimson, and diamonds in glistening white and warm yellow, echoing the hues of nature at her most vivid.

A Triumph of Craftsmanship
True to Dior’s heritage of excellence, the collection is a testament to savoir-faire at the highest level. Among its most exceptional techniques:
Opale doublet, where opal is layered over mother-of-pearl or onyx to create mysterious, water-like colour effects, evocative of skies at dusk or moonlight on a lake.
Plique-à-jour, a stained-glass-like enamel technique that allows light to pass through translucent panels, bringing brilliance and delicacy to the fore.
The Maison also embraces contemporary formats, such as double rings, hair jewels, brooches, ear climbers, and cuffs, described as “atypical functionalities”, infusing heritage craftsmanship with modern styling.
Each piece is assembled through hundreds of meticulous steps by master artisans from micro-sculpting and stone-setting to reverse engraving, resulting in jewels that feel both timeless and avant-garde.

A Fairytale Reimagined
The couture presentation that accompanied Diorexquis was itself a spectacle: rich velvet gowns in forest green, plum, ochre and gold echoed the natural shades of the stones. Each look, imagined by Maria Grazia Chiuri, felt like a character from a storybook enhanced by Victoire de Castellane’s brilliant floral creations, culminating in an evening suspended between reality and reverie.
Diorexquis is not merely a collection; it is a narrative in gemstones, a celebration of Dior’s timeless love affair with nature, femininity, and dreams. At the crossroads of poetry, precision, and innovation, it affirms Victoire de Castellane’s genius in transforming jewellery into living, breathing art.
